AIs won’t be as useful as they could be if they’re boxed into voice assistants. Scatter a small constellation of mics, cams, various-sized screens, and speakers throughout one’s life (home, car, person). These “AI body parts” would self-network, offering at-hand but not in-hand computing. The ones nearest us provide the I/O without being worn/carried. That wouldn’t obviate our phones right away but could be more attractive than having to be glued to our smart phones and watches. #AmbientAI
