Enter our leading lady: Loretta Mary Aiken (March 19, 1897-May 23, 1975)🇺🇸 AKA Moms Mabley- legedary stand-up comedian, vaudevillian and actress. From the 1920s onwards she lived as an out and proud lesbian, making her the first Black American Lesbian woman to establish herself a a stand up comedy. “Amazing Grace” (1974) is her final film role and her only lead actress role in a feature film.
