Meow!
Tried watercolours because why not? Looks pretty decent for a silly doodle of a silly cat. Totally not me rn.

Added the AIM-7M “Sparrow” to the party :3
For those unaware, the AIM-7M is the most common variant in service today. It dates to 1982 and features a series of major upgrades that vastly improved its performance in beyond-visual-range air-to-air combat compared to previous models.
Doodled some military equipment and made stickers out of them :3
Arctic Nights
The unthinkable has happened. Despite the best of what diplomacy could offer, war has broken out in the high north.
The Russian Armed Forces moved swiftly to take Kirkenes and Varangerfjord. Intense shelling of Lakselv by Russian submarines has Norway on their back foot and without a northern airfield. Ivalo, an important crossroads along the Lahti Highway in Lapland, seems doomed to fall into Russian hands.
All in such short notice. Hidden from view beneath the canopies of snow-dusted birch trees. All under the cover of darkness in this perpetual Arctic night.
Greens and blues faintly faded in and out over their kneeboard, illuminating coordinates, time on targets, fuel planning, and more. The soft glow of an amber light illuminated the warm lip of a coffee canister. A familiar voice calls out over the radio, pinging another pilot about their rations. A sense of comfort washed over them as their focus drifted elsewhere.
They never thought they’d see real combat. Not here, not now. And yet, here they were.
“Some night, eh?”, said the familiar voice over the radio.
“Yeah…”
“Are you always this bothered?”, they ring again.
The pilot doesn’t respond, pulling back their lips in a moment of frustrated thought. Before they could reply, the pilot off their right wing chimes in.
“Life has funny way of keeping us on our toes. It’s never truly safe out there, even where you think they can’t get you.”
The radio falls into an uncomfortable silence.
“Keep your tails high”, the pilot rings again, “Let’s make it out of this alive.”
PSR B1257+12 ("Lich")
PSR B1257+12, also known as Lich, is a millisecond pulsar located 2,600 light years away in the constellation Virgo. A pulsar is a type of neutron star, the collapsed core of a massive star consisting primarily of neutrons, where its strong magnetic field and rapid rotation cause it to release jets of highly energized particles from its magnetic poles. Each time these jets point in our direction, they appear as regular flashes of light, like a lighthouse. These pulses are so powerful they can be detected across an entire galaxy.
This pulsar has 1.4x the mass of the Sun and a diameter of 10 kilometres, making it unfathomably dense. It completes a single rotation every 0.006219 seconds, which translates to about 161 rotations per second. While this sounds stupid fast for a star, it isn't anywhere near as fast as the fastest millisecond pulsars out there.
This monster happens to be one of my favourite pulsars for a variety of reasons, chief among them being the fact it was the first star around which astronomers confirmed the existence of three exoplanets! How these perpetually irradiated worlds survived their host star's violent transformation from a normal star to a pulsar remains a mystery.
Pulsars are one of my favourite astronomical phenomena. If I didn't have my heart set on cosmology or planetary science, I would've gone into radio astronomy to study pulsars and other neat stuff like them.
Honourable mention: PSR B0329+54 my beloved 💕. Every "click" of these pulsars is a single rotation. Of an entire star. Smaller than a city. Yet heavier than the SUN. Keep that in mind.

First Krita doodle
Just me jogging in socks.
It looks like ass but I'm using a mouse and didn't put a whole lot into this. The important thing is that I used Krita for the first time and became acquainted with a bit of how it works. Exposure is an important first step.
I think I'd fair much better using my Wacom tablet.
A yes, finally. I did the video justice.

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יי אֱלֹהֵינוּ רוּחַ הָעוֹלָם שֶׁבָּרְאָה עוֹד בְּרִיּוֹת כָּמוֹנִי
I’m low key surprised I’ve never shared this here but last year I made this personal doodle of my sona. I was still exploring my spirituality at the time and so I made it pretty ambiguous as to whether I was meditating or praying. I think both are perfectly valid interpretations.
It wasn’t until much later that added the open mouth and Hebrew text, which is a bracha (blessing) for seeing/meeting someone like you. Perhaps a fellow snow leopard taur.
Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Spirit of the Universe, who has created other people like me.
Finding any references for a taur in this exact pose was difficult (I should just stitch together feral and hoomin refs next time) but I think it turned out alright. Maybe one day I’ll clean it up and make something nice out of it.

Amaya in a skirt
My fursona in a traditional Nahua (Pipil) outfit. The Nahua (or Pipil) are an indigenous group of Mesoamerican people inhabiting what is now western and central El Salvador, from whom I am partly a descendant. 🇸🇻
I originally meant for this line art to form the base of a reference sheet. Around that time I got the idea of showing my fursona in a dress, so I attempted to draw my fursona in a traditional Nahua outfit. Nahua skirts are often very finely patterned so cut me some slack.
Now over a year since then I’ve decided to shelve that whole first attempt for a fresh start with better knowledge, better references, and thinner lines. I feel dumb for even sharing this but I figured since I made the effort, I might as well share it.
