Kanata's graduation announcement is the most direct criticism of working conditions we've seen from a Holomem in a while, and it's stuff that applies to the entire industry. I felt a bit lonely thinking about that this week: most EN-speaking fans just want to say she's leaving for health reasons and leave it at that, with a small minority jumping to the other extreme and saying negative things about Hololive that equally contradict her words.
My favorite goofy VTuber podcast covered the topic much more helpfully. This might sound like a low bar, but it meant a lot just to hear people responding to what she'd actually said, accepting her narrative and the nuance she'd put into it.

Watched the broke gang portion of Kanata's first solo live. It's just the first few songs, but it's so hype. Loved seeing shots of the musicians too – that's something I always kinda wished we got to see in Fes streams. Other than MGO's Overture I've not seen any of the solo lives before. Definitely been missing out.
