Pisa, 8 mag. (Adnkronos) - "Il mare per l'Italia ha un valore straordinario, un valore che noi non abbiamo sempre considerato e sempre riconosciuto e adesso siamo nella fase in cui dobbiamo riscoprirlo. Quindi questo governo per la prima volta si è dotato di un ministro per le politiche del mare, che è il senatore Nello Musumeci, di un comitato interministeriale dove siedono tutti i ministri che hanno competenze dirette e indirette sul mare e questi ministri stanno facendo sistema, si sono dotati di un piano del mare, che è il documento di riferimento strategico e siamo adesso nella fase dell'attuazione, ma appunto la novità è il fatto di fare sistema. Direi che la sfida principale che l'Italia ha di fronte è quella di seguire la rotta della riscoperta della vocazione marittima e quindi di diffondere la consapevolezza oltre la linea di costa, oltre le città che sono bagnate dal mare e di arrivare nell'entroterra dove invece ci sono straordinarie energie, che sono quelle dei nostri imprenditori, che dipendono dal mare ma non sempre ne sono consapevoli". Lo ha detto l'Ammiraglio Pierpaolo Ribuffo, Capo Dipartimento per le politiche del Mare, in occasione della cerimonia di premiazione - oggi a Palazzo Gambacorti di Pisa - della III edizione della rassegna letteraria 'Pagine d'aMare', promossa e organizzata dal Ministro per la Protezione civile e le Politiche del mare, Nello Musumeci, in collaborazione con il Ministero della Cultura e, per il 2026, con il Comune di Pisa.
"È estremamente importante anche dal punto di vista simbolico che questo evento di 'Pagine d'aMare' si tenga a Pisa, che è una delle nostre Repubbliche Marinare. 'Pagine d'aMare' è una rassegna itinerante, quindi abbiamo già avuto un'edizione che si è tenuta ad Amalfi e un'altra che si è tenuta a Venezia, ora abbiamo Pisa, la prossima sarà Genova perché vogliamo ripercorrere e richiamarci in qualche modo alla nostra storia e al nostro futuro".

Pisa, May 8 (Adnkronos) - "The sea has an extraordinary value for Italy, a value that we haven't always considered and always recognized, and now we are in the phase where we must rediscover it. Therefore, this government for the first time has endowed itself with a Minister for Maritime Policies, Senator Nello Musumeci, of an interministerial committee where all the ministers with direct and indirect competence in the sea sit, and these ministers are working together, they have equipped themselves with a maritime plan, which is the strategic reference document, and we are now in the phase of implementation, but the novelty is the fact of working together. I would say that the main challenge facing Italy is to follow the course of rediscovering its maritime vocation and therefore spreading awareness beyond the coastline, beyond the cities that are bathed by the sea and to reach the inland where there are extraordinary energies, those of our entrepreneurs, who depend on the sea but are not always aware of it.” This was said by Admiral Pierpaolo Ribuffo, Head of the Department for Maritime Policies, during the awarding ceremony – today at Palazzo Gambacorti in Pisa – of the third edition of the literary review ‘Pagine d’aMare’, promoted and organized by the Minister for Civil Protection and Maritime Policies, Nello Musumeci, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and, for 2026, with the Municipality of Pisa.

“It is also extremely important from a symbolic point of view that this event of ‘Pagine d’aMare’ is held in Pisa, which is one of our Maritime Republics. ‘Pagine d’aMare’ is a touring review, so we have already had an edition that was held in Amalfi and another that was held in Venice, now we have Pisa, the next one will be Genoa because we want to revisit and refer to some way to our history and our future.”
