More messing around with a camera, today's tests involved playing about with more extremes of light and playing around with settings to see what I could capture, and of course doing the very technical "whack on auto mode and see what settings it pics for exposure". Mostly I have discovered whole new lengths to the select an exposure wheel to keep my ISO level as low as I can which seems to work.

Also bonus cat who is telling me to go to bed.

Offering stand and bowl on one of my altars. The Minoans used a huge variety of offering stands, some of which looked remarkably like modern footed cake plates (which is what I'm using here). An offering stand elevates the offering above the rest of the altar, a reminder that once it's given to the gods, an offering is no longer an ordinary substance.
