Hey Alberta I have random question regarding recall elections. Is it possible to have a Recall election for the premier's seat there or are they immune?

A rare bipartisan coalition in Alabama pushes ban on machine gun conversion devices

A bipartisan coalition in Alabama has come together to endorse a public safety package that would ban devices that convert semi-automatic weapons into machine guns. The group of mayors, lawmakers and law enforcement marks a rare consensus on gun restrictions and a departure from years of conflict about how to stem gun violence. Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin said Wednesday that “Even if there are some things we may not agree with, today is a major deal.” Police believe the conversion devices dramatically increase gun violence casualties. Some Democrats expressed concern about a bill in the package that would increase legal protections for police officers accused of using excessive force.

Ah I get it. Ottawa is not allowed to dictate to Alberta over the national (international) issue of climate but….. 🤔 #alpoli #Daniellezebub #Albertastan.

Canada could learn a lot from Norway. Here at least 2 levels of government give oil companies tax dollars to extract oil and don't hold them responsible to clean up their environmental disasters, instead they use tax dollars. In summary in Canada instead of building a trust fund governments pay the oil companies with tax dollars. Makes no sense.
