Tonight I watched episode 3 of #AllTheLightWeCannotSee.
So far: recommendable.
I knew nothing about the show going in, except for blind girl, radio, Mark Ruffalo, Hugh Laurie. Episode 1 left me feeling ambivalent as to whether or not I'd continue. Honestly, I was afraid it would turn out to be another Local Girl Falls For Apologetic Nazi.
By end of ep 3, I feel relieved in that it doesn't seem this "love" story will happen. Also, the plot and characters have grabbed me and I'm invested.

Werner doesn't step on a mine. He reunites with Marie-Laure. They find and return the Sea of Flames to the museum after proving there was no curse, and it is displayed publicly for the first time. The museum flourishes.
Netflix never makes that horrid TV version.

Just started watching #AllTheLightWeCannotSee on Netflix.
Highly recommend. They really don't sugarcoat anything.
