Are there any big feels I’d like to put into a story?
I'd like to write about the paralyzing fear of fascism and authoritarianism as it invades our lives day by day. The utter dispair at the unfairness, the persecution, the shadow docket.
But I'm not done feeling this yet.
One of the most gritty real things I've ever written was in response to the fall of Roe v Wade. I submitted it to an antho on the topic--half the editors said I went too far.
