Made it to the allotment today to put the first plants in the ground. The sun was warm, the birds were chirping happily away, and the time passed peacefully. I even got to harvest some sage and the first 500g of rhubarb for tomorrow's dinner.

From yesterday proper. My octogenarian neighbour had allowed some potatoes to "go over", but they were fine I thought to use as seed potatoes.
