This time it’s okay to post :) anyways, fun session again today, very nice model and the painting went alright. Although, I feel like I am missing something when painting in this format (a big bigger than I am used to). Maybe it’s that I see my brushstrokes? I don’t know. Will keep on making these, maybe have to do more portrait stuff outside of these sessions.

I have been trying to quickly capture my father’s living room. Happy with how parts turned out, though it’s hard to get a cohesive composition with so many part in it. Also, the glare is quite brutal so it photographed quite poorly. Anyways, I don’t paint lots of interiors, wanted to try it.

Headhunt from tonight. I thought I wouldn’t be bothered by the blank white background this time. But it did kind of annoy me haha :D

Oh well, at least no struggle with the hair this time. In hindsight I don’t mind how it came out thought I don’t exactly know wether I reached my goals with this one. Wanted to avoid bad hard edges and be more disciplined with tone. I think the tones are okay.
