TimAlison's Halo was amazing. Never thought I'd get to see them. It was their first time playing in Portland and they sounded excellent. Polaris is quickly becoming one of my favorite venues.

Dubbed "Beautiful Noise” music (aw, c'mon folks, it's mostly shoegaze), these folks didn't last long, despite clear talent.
This collects basically all their output on two LPs. Lots of good stuff beyond the one track that was on Still in a Dream.
(Allmusic compares the vocalist Catherine Cooper to Liz Fraser, and I think they couldn't be more wrong…)
