Sometimes I talk in English in meetings and feel like an elephant (having unlearned all the mores of polite British conversation) and then I find myself in a German meeting and people don't understand that I am criticising sth or that I mean "no way, this is unacceptable" because I formulate so politely and carefully. #bilingual #alingual
