This large effort of the Aliner Expedition camper mods is nearly complete. There was a cassette toilet on the left and just the large cabinet door on the right. Built 4 maple drawers and reconfigured things a bit.

Anyone who builds a camping trailer with things from the factory plumb and square is a god. Took a bit to make this work. #woodworking #aliner #camper #campers

We'll have a new camper soon, and we need an outdoor cooktop for it. It has the bracket already on the camper. So, I scrounged up some leftover hickory flooring for it. First step is to make the top. Got the sides cut as well. Once this is dry I'll router out the outside edge for edging to attach below.

I'm hoping to rip the cooktop out of the inside and replace that with an oven and cooktop. Then the cooktop will drop into this. #camping #aliner

It's installed and works. No leaks. Nice steady temp. #camping #aliner
I've done plenty of exciting things in my life, but cutting a hole in a perfectly good camper to install an on-demand water heater is right up there. #camping #aliner
Put our wonderful little camper (2012 Aliner Classic) away for the winter. It was a lower usage year, but we hit 25500 miles of getting pulled behind the Outback and night number 121 in it since adopting it in 2018. Looking forward to next year's adventures. #camping #aliner

This is an interesting space for me, since I have a particular loathing for using bylines to describe myself, or hashtagging my own words--and since the hashtag culture is part of my manuscripts. 🙃

I'm doing my best to navigate how my personal principles are challenged by social media. One keeps learning, always.
