<> Rachel Croft, a YouTube suggestion that worked out really well
<> Southern Avenue: I heard a track on WRSI and bought it right away
<> The Staves: it seems to me I have bought every Staves release except for one and I'll probably go back for it
<> The Wolff Sisters (with Dick Curless's grandson on drums): a new favorite out of Boston
<> The Hillbilly Moon Explosion when the woman sings. Since this hillbilly outfit is Zurich-based, the vocalist could be singing in a third language.

Twisted Pine has a new album released today titled "Love Your Mind."

The featured track, "Goosebump Feeling" is quite good; but the following track, "Chanel Perfume" ft. Ali McGuirk is even better.

Ali McGuirk in Europe:

In addition to working with Eilen [Jewell], one of my other gigs is managing the amazing Ali McGuirk. She is a label-mate of Eilen’s at Signature Sounds. The Boston Globe named her album ‘Til It’s Gone as one of 2022’s 50 Best Albums of the Year and proclaimed, “Ms. Ali gets it. And she can play that damn guitar, too. There’s a history scattered through soul music, and blues, that speaks to this aesthetic. Boston and New England last saw this combination with a gal named Sue [Tedeschi] a couple of decades ago.”
