A key scene takes place at an NHL game between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Boston Bruins at the Boston Garden. Bobby Orr and Eddie Johnston are seen playing for the Bruins, and Keith Magnuson, Tony Esposito, Bill White, Pat Stapleton, and Cliff Koroll are seen playing for the Blackhawks. The real game took place on October 26, 1972, and Chicago won 6-3 (via).

Very strong story, with a massive laugh towards the end when Harlan (the fabulous #DennisLipscomb) realises his plot to murder his monkey co-star has gotten the animal’s trainer instead. Hilarious.

Several scenes with #AlexRocco as Al in this one. Sublime.

This show is perfect.

#StarskyAndHutch 54 & 55 (1977)

Good script, with enough story to fill the two hours.
#AlexRocco is typically strong as a plague-carrying hitman who bonds with his landlady's young son (#PatrickLabyorteaux). Ultimately, he risks his life/freedom to save the kid, and it works without getting mawkish or sentimental.
With Hutch dying, #PaulMichaelGlaser dials up the intensity. And it's great.

Genius.

1️⃣ #KurtwoodSmith is fabulous as a rival talent agent who wants to steal Teddy away. Great dilemma/story/ending.

2️⃣ Sadly, this is Smith’s only episode. He puts his snake-in-the-grass smile to great use. And brings out the very best in #JonCryer, who always plays Teddy with heart. But he really shines here as Teddy grapples with his conscience.

3️⃣ Of course, #AlexRocco - who only appears twice - steals the episode from everybody as Al Floss.
