gideon is dead but the corpse is haunted by her soul and is now named kiriona
gideon is dead, eaten by the soul of neptune (the planet) and now pyrrha has gideons body
nona is alecto is also the soul of the planet earth but nona was alecto in harrowharks body and alecto was earth in a barbie body
teacher is just some priest
teacher is also god
god is also named john
god is from new zealand but is the only person who remembers that fact
dulcinea was dead the whole first book and it was cytherea the whole time
dulcinea was dead the whole second book but that was actually her
actually a lot of the people in the second book were dead the whole time but that didn't stop them from keeping commander wake out of harrowharks body
cytherea was dead the whole second book but her body was haunted by commander wake
commander wake also haunted harrowhark at the same time in the second book
