ALASCA FOCIS is being prolonged 💚

A few weeks ago, we had @revol_xut from @dd_ix on our Tech-Talk and he presented the open-source project IXpect, that just recently found its way into ALASCA.
He gave an introduction on their association DD-IX e.V. and then dove straight into the technical aspects of IXpect.

Anthropics blocks access to AI models ⚠️
If we ever needed another example to undertand the gravity of our digital dependencies on U.S. companies, here we are. When governments are able to take away your access to AI overnight, we are not looking at an issue with technology, we are looking at an issue with sovereignty and control.

ALASCA at the SCS Summit 💚
We had the pleasure of enjoying the paneldiscussion "Open-Source Standards in der Praxis" and it was a hit! We had a great discussion with the ALASCA and SCS Communities.

Our ALASCA Hackathon draws closer 💪
Along side of groups working on Tarook and Yaook, you can get involved with our newer project Seconlay and our initiative Scomb - ALASCAs attempt of a SONiC Community build from within our own commuity. Last but not least there will be a group working on an AI policy for our association, lead by ALASCAs Technical Steering Committee.
