RobWorking my way through the complete works of Al Adamson means watching the 'erotic cult classic' The Sexy Stewardesses. Hell, I've endured Ray Dennis Steckler's The Mad Love Of A Hot Vampire so anything after that is going to feel like a masterpiece.
This made decent money and it's no surprise as this 1975 sexploitation flick seems to have a budget and is well made. In competition with actual porn, 70s sexploitation films really had to have something special and I have to say that this one is well-directed, groovy, kitsch and endearingly naive in parts. That's before we even get onto the ice-cool soundtrack.
Then there's the sex scenes with old man. No. No. Nope.
And then another. Also no.

"Angels' Wild Women' is a biker movie made sometime in the 60s but not seeing a release until 1971, by which time the fad for celluloid hell's angels was completely dead.
Like any of Al Adamson's movies which required extensive reshoots, this is a complete mess. The nonsensical plot just serves as filler between fight scenes, and the inclusion of a Manson-esque cult leader is particularly tasteless.
"Satan's Sadists" features a particularly rapacious biker gang led by the psychotic and impulsive Anchor (Russ Tamblyn). Their victimisation of an ex-GI and a waitress leaves two of the gang dead, and they vow revenge.
That's about it for the plot, but this is rendered enjoyable by far-out characters, brutal violence and Tamblyn's superb performance as a man so unhinged that even his own gang find him to be too extreme. Top stuff.

No.808: 'Brain Of Blood' (aka The Oozing Skull) is a prime cut of cinematic insanity served up by Al Adamson which (please god no) once again features Zandor Vorkov. With the leader of the nation of Khalid dying of cancer, his brain is transplanted - after much random faff - into the body of a murdererous imbecile. Because of course.
As films go, this is a meandering disaster which actually starts off entertainingly before just drifting off into tedious nonsense. Oh and Adamson directs like a blind man.
