David in SetouchiThat's it, one of my tillandsia is blooming. It's a bit underwhelming. It took two months for the flower to finally bloom, and it's only these tiny white things that dry out after about 24 hours to be replaced with another one.
And soon, the plant will die; tillandsia are the kind of plants that only bloom once, and they use all their energy and whatnot to do it.

Tillandsia caput-medusae has been working on this gorgeous inflorescence for weeks now I think. Finally got to see the first actual flower 🤩
I think this was Tillandsia fuchsii var. fuchsii. I need to figure out how to take proper pictures of plants that are this long 😅
