"We confirm that 173 humanitarian aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip on Sunday, October 12, through the crossings — the first day following the ceasefire agreement.
The convoy included 3 trucks loaded with cooking gas and 6 trucks of diesel fuel allocated for operating bakeries, generators, and hospitals, amid a dire need for these essential materials due to the prolonged blockade and the massive destruction caused by the genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation against the Gaza Strip.
We note that the quantities that entered remain extremely limited — merely a drop in the ocean of needs — and do not meet even the bare minimum of humanitarian and living requirements for more than 2.4 million people in the Gaza Strip. The Strip urgently requires a large and continuous flow of aid, fuel, cooking gas, and medical and relief supplies on an immediate and regular basis.
We affirm that government bodies continue to coordinate with international humanitarian and relief organizations to organize the entry and fair distribution of aid, ensuring it reaches all members of our Palestinian people."

> Aid trucks have begun to arrive in Gaza, as UN agencies prepare to dramatically scale up deliveries as part of a ceasefire deal which stipulates that 400 trucks will enter the strip daily.
This is set to increase to 600 - the minimum number estimated by the UN required to address the humanitarian crisis in the strip.
The increase in aid comes as Hamas announced it would release its remaining captives on Monday, as US President Donald Trump and other world leaders prepare to meet in Egypt for a major peace summit.
