La película pone en antecedentes la crisis actual en Israel/Palestina y saca a la luz las vidas de las personas que conocimos en nuestro viaje de 2022 por la Cisjordania ocupada. Sus historias, universalmente humanas, hablan de dolor intergeneracional, trauma y resistencia. Esperamos que lleguen a su corazón, despierten la compasión y la comprensión, y den lugar a la búsqueda de la justicia. Porque sin justicia, la paz sigue siendo un eslogan vacío.
El cine puede ser una poderosa fuerza de cambio. Nuestro objetivo es, más allá de la mera educación, conmover de verdad los corazones y las mentes e inspirar al público para que se haga eco de las llamadas a la libertad, la igualdad y la dignidad que han quedado sin respuesta durante demasiado tiempo.
La película es nuestra modesta contribución a nuestro sueño de poner fin a la ocupación en Palestina, lograr la igualdad de derechos y un trato justo para el pueblo palestino, y difundir la curación de todos los ciclos intergeneracionales de trauma en la región.
