I've been catching up on the #AGDQ2026 runs I missed, and this one in particular is amazing: it's a relay run of SM64 70 stars where every star is done by a different runner! Most of the runners ran different games at the event, had never run (or even played) SM64, and learned the trick for their assigned star during the event. They didn't just do baby tricks: they chose what strats to learn, and many of them chose the hardest strat for their star.
It takes quite a lot longer than a normal 70-star run, but it shows off something you don't normally get to see at AGDQ: runners failing at tricks they only just know. Every runner succeeds at getting their star, though, so it's not just the "you too can get started running" message they intended, it's also a much better demo of speedrunning's core joy of succeeding at something after a few retries.
Even if you're not into speedrunning, you won't regret spending a couple of hours on this.
