I got in an argument with over Gen Ai. Most people are against Ai slop in some levels at least. but they continue to defend two core arguments:
-Ai art is good at idea stage of something, as long as human does the final thing-
-Ai writing is is acceptable tool to shorten your work as long as you are checking it-
I can point out problems in both of these, and i will later here.

1. The energy and water use.
2. The theft of intellectual property.
3. The slop.
4. The lack of accountability.
5. The depression of wages/devaluation of skills.
6. The loss of hope for aspiring creatives.
