Mindscape, her first novel, is a large, complex, and intense story of how humanity copes with alien barriers dividing the earth into three habitable areas filled with visionaries, gangsters, video makers, actors, throwbacks, politicians, and diplomats–and lots of conflicted people. This novel has quite the kick. Read it when you’re ready to dive deep.

Floaty BirbI finished reading "Afterglow: Climate Fiction for Future Ancestors", an anthology of environmentally-minded short stories about living in the far future, with #solarpunk and #afrofuturist vibes (it also calls itself "hopepunk", whatever that means, I guess "hopeful"?).
Aside from science fiction, some stories used magical realism or went surreal.
Grist, an environmentalist non-profit, publishes a book like it every year. You can it here, for free:
