I would like to argue that my artwork depicting the end of Aeschylus’s life is just as historically accurate as the average “Death of Cleopatra” painting.

Who else schedules photoshoots for their artwork? Thanks to Aaron at Fotolab No.7 for photographing my huge, glossy painting! The image is up on my website, but if you want to see this artwork in person, you have until February 8th, 2026, to catch it at the Sioux City Art Center.

When you check out my painting at the Sioux City Art Center in Iowa, impress your friends by telling them about the symbolism in this painting when you point out Aeschylus, the turtle, and the eagle!

If you’re familiar with paintings that allegedly depict the death of Cleopatra, then you’ll probably get a kick out of my painting titled the Death of Aeschylus. I describe my oil on canvas composition of luxuriating dudes while sharing the historic inspiration.
