SeanSitting here genuinely tempted to buy a second copy of Aeon's End: The New Age and the associated Accessory Pack. Not because there's anything wrong with my existing copy, but because I'm genuinely tempted to have a copy to use as a teaching aid for the game and a copy to use in my Expeditions.
I really like the game, if that wasn't coming across.

17M d20s in a TrenchcoatCurrently at 95.0/100 new #boardgames for 2024. There's two more currently in progress on #boardgamearena, and I assume the other three will be similarly light, so I suspect I can call it for the year in terms of top X retrospectives.
(As usual, my sorting of #AeonsEnd plays by nemesis is splitting the count over multiple items, but if they were all together they'd be most played at around 360.)

Während sich in #LordsofWaterdeep die Spieler mit Intrigen in die Quere gekommen sind, konnten in #AeonsEnd die Riss-Magier den Durchbruch zur "Feste der letzten Ruhe" verhindern.

I've gotten about 10 games of the new #AeonsEnd release in since it arrived a couple days ago. I like the new module in its design but I'm really not a fan of how it makes games take 50-100% longer. #boardgames

LadilaxoAus der Stadtbibliothek auf den Tisch: Endlich konnte ich mal #AeonsEnd spielen! Bei den erste drei Solopartien habe ich ordentlich auf die Mütze bekommen - allerdings auch #TrueSolo mit nur einem Rissmagier. Erst zweihändig konnte ich die Hassgeburt dann besiegen.

Surfacing briefly because it's been a hot minute.
Played through Aeon's End: Legacy with my friend Dan in two weekends flat. That was a LOT of fun, and made for us two custom, unique breach magi that we can use in (re-)playing the New Age box and then the Outcasts campaign.
All in all, loved it. Tempted to do a custom box to hold our magi. Planning an expedition for the two of us for the next time we get to play.
