Phyllis Coates (1927-2023) — TV’s first Lois Lane on ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN.

She also co-starred in the JOE McDOAKES shorts, appeared in films like I WAS A TEENAGE FRANKENSTEIN, and played Lois’s mother on LOIS & CLARK in a 50-year career.
