Dis- words are funny. The prefix suggests ‘not’, as in disobey, dishonour or disrespect, but I’m fascinated by the outliers such as disgruntled, disgusted and display. If I am feeling serene am I ‘gruntled’? Experiencing pleasurable ‘gust’? (Ooh, thought. Related to ‘gusto’?). Don’t get me started on dishwasher 😋
