I call this one "Protector of the toothpick realm"

I guess I do have a thing for tentacles ๐Ÿ˜† and this little man protects the toothpicks with everything he got! Made from polymer clay and painted with acrylics ๐ŸŽจ

"Otherwise Discarded" When I paint, my palette is usually a piece of hard but flexible plastic packaging. When the paint builds up enough, it can be peeled! And sometimes the peel is just so dang pretty, I think I should frame it. So that's what I did this time! #abstract #art #acrylics #paintpeel

An Experiment in Abstract Textures

First, I used a combination of wood, cardboard, hessian, Polyfilla and gesso.
Next, I used some acrylic colours as a base layer.
Finally, I used white mixed with a small range of colours to help enhance the textures.
