In the middle of #ACrownOfCandy episode 9 "Safe Harbor", when #BrennanLeeMulligan is hinting that there are (religious) nazis among the healthy food people who want to eradicate junk food, I can't help but remember the many times he's claimed "bad food is good and good food is bad" (including #AdventuringParty episodes on The Unsleeping City). It's so funny! 😂

hybrid havocI've been watching #ACrownOfCandy on #DropoutTV / #Dimension20. I didn't vibe with this campaign as much, as it's trying to sort of mimic the political intrigue of Game of Thrones. It ends up being not as funny / silly as some other campaigns as a result.
Now watching #ACrownOfCandy, another #Dimension20 campaign on #DropoutTV. It's interesting being back with relatively low level characters, I've had to recalibrate combat expectations.

now I move on to the Game of Thrones-inspired food world of A Crown Of Candy, and so far it has been absolutely brutal and I love it!! I think only one player has any healing ability right now which only puts the stakes even higher.
also there's something horrifying about the fact that these people are all made of food, but also have blood and bones?? like there's a cheese person who has a skeleton?? it's disgusting

HezMany of the YouTube channels I comfort-watch are on holiday hiatus right now, so I treated myself to the gift of #DropoutTV since I've been enjoying their #DnD #ActualPlay content on YT so much recently. Burned through #FantasyHigh Freshman & Sophomore year & S1 of #UnsleepingCity before I even subscribed, and now I'm into #ACrownOfCandy. A perfect way to run out the clock on this year. Also, my #Pathfinder1e group has committed to playing every Friday in January, so I'm getting hyped up for it!
