I found an interesting service that helps people pay their restaurant bills on their phone. The original goal was to help restaurants turn the tables much faster. But there is so much more to it, all of a sudden it makes it possible for people with disabilities to pay in an accessible way.

A blind man in South Africa is working on becoming the first blind tour guide in his country.
I'm so glad to read this, because sometimes blind people are just boxed into fields society thinks they can. Such initiatives shouldn't be part of the news, but of the norm.
I gave sighted people city tours, while being blind. What enabled me to do so was my knowledge of the area, history and geography, and not my vision.
