Empezamos nuestro viaje por #Egipto con una visita bien temprana a #AbuSimbel
El complejo es espectacular. Más espectacular es saber que lo movieron de sitio porque el sitio original iba a quedar inundado por el futuro Lago Nasser.
Sólo se puede visitar mediante agencias autorizadas, según nos dijeron.
Eso sí, el ritmo es frenético.
Esa misma sensación nos acompañará durante el resto del viaje.

Те самые храмы Абу-Симбел, которые пришлось перенести в 1960-х годах, чтобы избежать затопления при строительстве Асуанской плотины.
Построены более 3200 лет назад; высота статуй - около 20 метров.
Оказалось, что наверх подниматься нельзя. Там есть таблички, но маленькие и редко расположены. Так что я не заметил и пришлось полицейскому с ружьем подниматься за мной. А он еще был не в форме и подъем ему тяжело дался
