Annotazioni personali per configurare firefox al meglio, togliendo servizi non richiesti o aggiungendo cose nascoste.
Elenco in ordine sparso! (Magari un giorno lo strutturo meglio.)
1) Disabilitare Google Lens:
about:config -> browser.search.visualSearch.featureGate -> FALSE
2) Permettere CTRL+V in campi che non lo consentono (di solito i campi riservati alle password):
about:config -> dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled ->FALSE
3) Disabilitare le funzionalità IA:
about:config -> browser.tabs.groups.smart -> mettere FALSE dove è possibile.
about:config -> browser.ml.chat -> mettere FALSE dove è possibile.
Per chi invece le vuole mette TRUE, ovviamente.
ATTENZIONE: con gli aggiornamenti di Firefox questi parametri possono passare da FALSE a TRUE. Controllarli periodicamente!
4) Come abilitare le versioni TLS obsolete:
about:config -> security.tls.version.min – 1 => TLS 1.0 // 2 => TLS 1.1 // 3 => TLS 1.2
ATTENZIONE: abilitare le versioni obsolete di TLS può portare a gravi rischi per la sicurezza. Modificare queste impostazioni solo se si hanno ben presente i rischi.

- browser.tabs.groups.smart.enabled – wyłącza inteligentne grupowanie kart.
- browser.ml.chat.enabled – wyłącza powiązaną funkcję chatbota AI.

A few of us (@foobarry , @bigcalm ) have been tinkering with Firefox tab unloading.
Noteworthy settings:
⚙️ browser.tabs.fadeOutUnloadedTabs will fade the tabs icons
⚙️ browser.tabs.min_inactive_duration_before_unload sets the minimum time the tab will live before the unloader does it's thing. general consensus is that this is the number of milliseconds, with the default being 10 minutes (mine is much less than that now)
⚙️ browser.tabs.unloadOnLowMemory will account for low ram
⚙️ browser.tabs.unloadTabInContextMenu enables manual unloading of tabs via a context menu action
📄 There's a page called about:unloads with useful metrics, which references this page of information https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/browser/tabunloader/
🛠️ Pinned tabs are deprioritized in the eyes of the unloader. Which is a setting I'd like to change.

gnateAlso, neither search (ctl-F) or forward/back mouse buttons work in the side panel, which would be very handy for Wikipedia, etc. Those actions apply to the main window even with the cursor over the the side panel, so perhaps this is a focus issue.
However, even though the size changes for the side bar (tabs), the scrollbar is still not functional, only working as an indicator. The mouse doesn't 'grab' the slider--rather it executes 'Restore Down' (unmaximize) on the window and moves it around. Absolutely not what I would want, and would only expect with alt-click, if at all.
Maybe some weirdness with focus/mouse/scroll settings? Couldn't find a way to disable the automatic window resizing/moving.
UI suggestions for #ZenBrowser
I had to adjust
layout.css.scrollbar-width-thin.disabled
and
widget.non-native-theme.gtk.scrollbar.thumb-size
to override the unusably thin scrollbars.
