Konferenssihommia Teologian ja uskontotieteen päivillä Åbo Akademissa. Ihan oli mielenkiintoisia esityksiä ja hyvä tunnelma. Monia näki viime viikolla viimeksi Suomen uskontotieteellisen seuran 60-vuotisseminaarissa: tosi harvinaista herkkua tällanen kollegiaalinen remuaminen jo toista viikkoa putkeen. Perjantaina mun vuoro parantaa maailmaa. Meidän session otsikko on "Naurat tai itket ja naurat". Tajusin juuri, että aika isoja lupauksia 😅

One of the reasons I love working at #aboakademi is the small scale of this place.
Walking along #biskopsgatan from my office to a local café I met the professor with whom I have a doctoral student, after she had been to faculty meeting, the dean, on his way to dinner and finally, at my destination, an associate professor from the other faculty, with whom we are planning a joint application. All these lovely faces on a 5 minutes strip of wet greyness and my heart leaps for Joy! #blessed

Igår hade jag den enorma glädjen att besöka mitt Alma Mater #alandsluceum inom ramen för #aboakademi s gymnasiesamarbeten. Jag blev mycket varmt välkomnad av gamla och nya lärare.
Bäst var ändå att se och höra hur studenterna tog emot presentationen som tog sin början i #medeltiden s #mappamundi material och slutade i #taylorswift s musikvideon. Rubriken var #religion och #Populärkultur och vi berörde spännande teman så som #avförtrollning #enchantment #sekularisering #fragmentation #helgon
