Ruined farmhouse in the public forest. It was once a logere - a farmhouse and barn, the arches, windows, and chimney still visible.

I always wondered what happened here.

Fire? WW2? There are many old #ruins, and not just bc they built a newer farmhouse next door..

Then the village magazine published an article.

The railway arrived in the 1920s.

Many local families simply went "to hell with mountain subsistence farming! We're moving to PARIS"
