The Emirates A380 has landed at Mini-Europe
The Emirates A380 has touched down at the airport in Mini-Europe, bringing one of the most recognisable aircrafts to Brussels’ captivating world of miniature monuments, displays, and animations. The Emirates A380 model has been replicated in perfect detail, taking over 60 hours of intricate craftsmanship by Mini-Europe’s expert modellers, to capture the distinctive features of the A380 and iconic Emirates livery. Custom-made at a scale of 1:25, the aircraft still measures nearly three meters in length (292 cm) with an impressive wingspan of 320 cm and a height of 45 cm. From the proportions of the fuselage to the fine details of the livery, the model highlights the expertise and craftsmanship that define Mini-Europe’s creations.

Am Samstag war ich mit dem Kompost unterwegs, als mir mein iPhone anzeigte, dass die A380 Richtung Dubai in Zürich gestartet sei. Laut der App sollte es sich um eine ganz besondere, sehr farbige Maschine handeln: blau mit irgendwelchen Mustern und Texten. Dieses Flugzeug wäre erstens ein schönes Foto-Sujet, und zweitens würde es sich für einen guten Post eignen.
Die A380 flog tatsächlich nördlich von uns durch. Sie war tatsächlich blau und farbig – irgendwie besonders halt. Sie war aber auch schon fast vorbei, als ich merkte, wo sie war. Auf der Foto, die ich hastig noch machte, war sie nur noch ziemlich klein zu sehen. Quasi zum Trost – um mir doch noch eine Foto zu ermöglichen – erwischte ich gestern die nächste A380 nach Dubai.
Normal in weiss lackiert und bei schlechterem Wetter …
