Happening tonight ✨

Join us upstairs at the Firkin on Yonge for a cozy #a11yTO social. We’ll be reconnecting, meeting new folks, and reflecting on our accessibility journey from 2025.

Zero prep. Zero pressure. Just community.

6–8 PM — drop in and say hi!

mind the WCAG automation gap – HTML Accessibility

my good friend Adrian @aardrian is in toronto for the #a11yTO conference

Adrian and i were members of evolt.org -- he created the first web browser archive, back when you had to test your html and css in as many browsers as practicable

and he's still involved in web accessibility

Now that I’ve presented at an event in Canada, can I say that I’m an “internationally-recognized speaker”? 😄

Up next is Josh Hetrick from 1:30 to 2:10pm with: "Users know best: Embracing user styles for resilient designs" By leaning into user customizations instead of resisting them, we can design in a more resilient way that meets users where they are.
