This week we had some heavy showers after a long period of drought. For me this was a signal to go out the next morning before sunrise. This is the best time to find fog further into the year. While I was photograpfing I suddenly hear some cracking of branches behind me. Immediatly I turned around too see what it could be. Luckely it just was a highland cow wolking true the field with branches. I smiled and took this photo

Sometimes there's not much interesting to photograph. But by still going out, you can find some new compositions to remember to come back for. For me, this is that kind of shot. For now it's not really interesting, but it could be in the right circumstances.

At some moments I got lucky. Moments like this are extremely rare in the Netherlands. But when the circumstances are right and you're at the right moment on the spot, you can find these unique sceneries Often the sun will melt the rime within an hour or so. Therefore, I took this image just after sunrise. Cold outside, but warm on the inside with this picture. :)

The winter had officially begun, along with temperatures in the double digits. How bizar is that! Personally, I'll always find it hard to make landscape photos; therefore, the colours in the sky are my most beloved friend. On this particular morning I could take a stunning sky with a dead tree as a picture. The whole surroundings were colored because of the reflections from the sky. Let's hope it's going to be a great winter with a lot of potential.
