I'm sorry, but how were they a leader? I mean, were they ever a leader in anything other than having the biggest #SocialNetwork at some point?
Yeah they did #VR stuff, with #HorizonWorlds, but Horizon never really took off, and I'm not really sure that the #Occulus counts when it's an aquihire and #JohnCarmack left after they wouldn't let him keep expanding. Same with #AI, they did some stuff, but I don't remember it ever being like, the "big thing in AI".
I'm pretty sure #Zuckerburg got richer than his parents off of this #SocialNetworking thing, realized that having a bunch of users doesn't actually pay a bunch of money, and is now struggling to figure out how to turn those financed assets into profits.

Queen 1066For those who need reminding. #whatsapp #facebook #instagram #messenger and #threads are all #mets #zuckerburg. Everything you post on any of these platforms #meta then owns. I use some of these for selling furniture and a book club chat group. I don’t post personal photos and I don’t give it access to my contacts. The only #socialmedia tool I use everyday is this one and I only watch things on #tiktok and give pats on back for things I like. I ignore or ‘not interested’ things I don’t.
#meta #zuckerburg #privacy. I’m not sure in how many ways people can tell parents that the photos they post of their children on social media is not theirs anymore. For 15 years people have been saying it but it just doesn’t register.
