3 - Limited Lab Run, where you get one (1) lab visit per Case you solve, making it a run where routing is extremely important.

Depending on how easy this is, I could shorten it to one visit per chapter, to make it spicier.

Rules:

- No consumables allowed.
- Hard Mode.
- Only allowed to enter the DigiLab a limited amount of times.
- Standard ABI cap.
- To make things more interesting, you must exit the Lab immediately after using the Farm PC.

This one is all about routing I think.

2 - Permadeath, with a character cap of [Chapter Number] + 1, so I'll have 1 Digimon in the Prologue, 2 on Chapter 1, etc.

Rules are thus:

- May only convert one Digimon per extra chapter.
- If a digimon dies in battle, it must be absorbed by another Digimon.
- No Consumable items allowed.
- ABI cap of 10 + (Current Chapter x 5).
- The game must be played on Hard mode.

Bit scary but I feel like if I have the routing down, I'd be able to get through this just fine.

1 - Draft picking game with a type restriction. What this means is that I'll only be able to play using a specific typing (Data, Vaccine or Virus), with my second playthrough being on Hacker's Memory, with the same restrictions, except I cannot use any members of the first playthrough.

Rules are simple:

- Only one type is allowed during major boss battles.
- No consumable items allowed.
- ABI cap of 10 + (Current Chapter x 5).
- The game must be played on Hard mode.
- Character Reversal is banned from any moveset.

Anything not mentioned explicitly in these rules is fair game.

That said, I wonder which route I should go for first...

Data Only is something I've tried in the past, so I have it mostly routed and planned.

Virus only seems very hard but also really interesting.

Vaccine only seems like probably the easiest one, but maybe that's what I need.

Decisions decisions...

Here are my main wishes for next year as they relate to this game:

Making a challenge run of this game, filming it, and plopping it on YouTube has been my white whale for the longest time. I want this year (2025) to be the year where I'll finally finish, if not several, at least one challenge run of this.

I will post the ideas for the run below, as well as the rules I'll be using, but what matters is that this will be a small series of videos I'm planning on making over the course of the next year.

With that in mind, here are the ideas:
