Biography of the Great Jihadist Commander Martyr Sayyed Fouad Ali Shukr “Sayyid Mohsen”
– Place and date of birth: Nabichit, April 25, 1961.
– A founding member of Hezbollah, he played a leading role in establishing and organizing the first groups of the Resistance in Lebanon.
– Participated in resisting the Zionist invasion in the early 1980s and was wounded in the heroic confrontation in Khalde in 1982.
– Played a key role in planning and managing operations, especially special ones, against occupation forces in Lebanon.
– The first central military commander of Hezbollah during the founding period and the first half of the 1990s.
– Managed and organized the dispatch of Hezbollah military cadres to support oppressed Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina between 1992 and 1995.
– The commander responsible for setting military plans for the Islamic Resistance, particularly in the July 2006 war and beyond, both on the eastern front against takfiri groups and the southern front against the Zionist enemy.
– Led significant military and security missions during various stages of the resistance’s history.
– Held membership in Hezbollah’s central Shura council during periods of his jihadi career, and was also a member of the Jihadi Council of the Islamic Resistance since its inception.
– Led military operations on the Lebanese support front since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Flood battle.
– Attained martyrdom on the path to Al-Quds following a treacherous Zionist assassination operation on July 30, 2024, in the southern suburb of Beirut.

After a journey filled with faith in Allah, a covenant with Allah, truthfulness in this faith and covenant, relentless and tireless struggle without fatigue or boredom, and a long wait to meet Allah and the loved ones who preceded him from his fellow leaders, martyrs, and fighters, and at the height of longing for this meeting, Allah has blessed His faithful, sincere, and devoted servant with the noble honor of martyrdom, permitting him this eternal meeting in the pleasure and vicinity of Allah.
He is the great jihadi leader, the dear and beloved brother, Sayyed Fouad Shukr (Sayyed Mohsen), whom we honor as a great martyr on the road to Al-Quds.
Our resistance presents him as a symbol of its firm commitment and steadfast determination to continue the jihad until the liberation of the land, sanctities, and humanity from the oppression and brutality of this usurping, criminal, and murderous entity, as one of its great symbols, one of the makers of its victories, strength, and capabilities, and one of its field commanders who did not abandon the struggle until his last breath.
As his direct presence in life was a unique strength for the resistance, his great martyrdom will be a powerful motivation for his fellow fighters to continue steadfastly and courageously to preserve the achievements, victories, and capabilities, and to realize the goals and aspirations that this great leader aspired to.
His martyrdom comes during the days commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), and he was a lover of Hussein (peace be upon him), to increase our resolve and determination to reject humiliation and oppression, and to never surrender with the submission of the humiliated.
We offer our condolences and congratulations to our Master of the Age (peace be upon him) and to His Eminence, the Leader Imam Khamenei (may his shadow be extended) and to all the fighters and mujahideen in all arenas and to the loyal and truthful masses of the resistance.
We particularly extend our condolences to his honorable family, each and every one of them, and we ask Allah Almighty to grant them beautiful patience, and the best rewards in this world and the Hereafter. May Allah accept this beloved from us and from them and join him with the Messenger of Allah and his pure household (peace be upon them) and include him with the luminous caravan of the martyrs of Karbala.

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine issued a statement mourning the great national leader, the martyr fighter Fouad Shukr, one of the senior leaders in the Lebanese Hezbollah party.
The Democratic Front stated: The great national leader, the martyr fighter Fouad Shukr, was martyred in a criminal and sinful “israeli” aggression that targeted the southern suburb of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, without regard for the peaceful civilians, resulting in dozens of innocent victims between martyrs and the wounded.
The Democratic Front added that the targeting of the martyr leader Fouad Shukr by the “israeli” enemy represents a blatant challenge and indicates an open readiness to ignite the fires of war in the region, believing that this would extricate it from its political and military dilemmas, which it has embroiled itself in, as it has embroiled the region in a war of genocide in the Gaza Strip and an aggressive war that has affected southern Lebanon and various parts of its territories.
The Democratic Front affirmed that the cowardly assassination crime in the sinful aggression on the southern suburb will not go without accountability commensurate with the magnitude of the major event in targeting one of the distinguished and senior leaders in the Lebanese national resistance and in the Lebanese Hezbollah.
The Democratic Front described the martyr leader Fouad Shukr as one of those who dedicated their lives and daily efforts in defense of their homeland, its sovereignty, and the national dignity of their people, especially the Palestinian cause and the national rights of its people in the open confrontation against the zionist occupation project, in all its expressions, terms, and manifestations.
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, while extending its heartfelt condolences and feelings of solidarity in struggle to the brotherly Lebanese people, their valiant national resistance, and the Lebanese Hezbollah led by Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, reiterates that the martyr leader Fouad Shukr is a martyr of Palestine, its resistance, and its people.
The heroes of the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank have pledged irrevocably that the criminal occupation will pay dearly for every drop of blood of a Palestinian or Lebanese martyr, or whatever their identity may be, for all the martyrs are the children of Palestine.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, with great pride and honor, exalts the great leader in Hezbollah, Sayyed Fouad Shukr, who was martyred following a cowardly zionist assassination targeting the southern suburb yesterday.

He and a group of Lebanese civilian citizens were targeted by treacherous zionist missiles in a treacherous bombing of the southern suburbs of Beirut by zionist planes after he fulfilled his duty of struggle and combat towards our Lebanese and Palestinian people and the Arab nation in defending Lebanon and Palestine, standing up for the oppressed in the face of the continuous zionist aggression against our nation.

With deep sorrow and grief, we received the news of the martyrdom of the great fighter and leader of the Islamic movement (Hamas), martyr of the Islamic nation in general and martyr of Palestine and Al-Quds, Ismail Haniyeh. May Allah have mercy on him and bless him with martyrdom after a long journey filled with jihad, contributions, and significant efforts in establishing the Islamic movement, which raised the banner of jihad and stood actively and steadfastly at the forefront of the oppressed, patient, and fighting Palestinian people until it achieved great accomplishments. By Allah’s grace, it has become a strong and solid front against zionist crimes. The martyr, may Allah have mercy on him, crowned his efforts and jihad with the best conclusion, martyrdom for the sake of Allah Almighty.
In this context, we extend our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to his sacrificing family for the sake of Allah, to the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, to all the fighters, the Palestinian people, and the entire Islamic nation.
The “israeli” enemy, through the crime of targeting our dear brother, the great fighter Ismail Haniyeh, may Allah have mercy on him, will achieve nothing of its hopes to break the resistance and extinguish the spirit of jihad and the iron will of the fighting brothers in Palestine and on all support fronts. The enemy has entangled itself in the crime of targeting the martyr, transferring the battle to a broader and larger dimension, which will have severe consequences for the enemy, by Allah’s will. We will spare no effort, by Allah’s will, and in cooperation with our brothers in the jihad and resistance front, to avenge the martyr and all the martyrs and to support the oppressed Palestinian people, backing our dear fighting brothers in the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian people who have been subjected to genocide by the “israeli” enemy with American participation over ten months.
We also extend our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the family of the martyr fighter leader, Sayyed Fouad Shukr, may Allah have mercy on him, who passed on the road to Al-Quds, to Hezbollah and its Secretary-General, may Allah preserve him, to its loyal and noble supporters, to the Lebanese people, to the jihad and resistance front, and to the Islamic nation.
