Technically these features have been available in the beta for a while now, but I officially rolled out v1.1 of the #ZineArranger to itch.io last night!

I think this includes a few fixes & adjustments that were not in the beta version, but otherwise it's mostly similar in functionality.

I finally printed & assembled @adornesibley 's zine from #OddSizedZineJam -- it's really good! I love that they made folding the zine part of the experience itself -- it's really clever & well-done.

When I was designing the 1/64th size feature for #ZineArranger, I figured it would mostly be a novelty, good for silly little random zine, but this one proves that even this tiny format can still create a deeper experience!!

The #ZineArranger v1.1 Beta is now live! Check it out, make some teeny-tiny zines, and lemme know if you run into any mistakes.

I'm still planning on hosting a zine jam in May. I just need to figure out when it should run.

Here's the link to the beta version:

Zine Arranger! Version 1.1 Beta

I think the #ZineArranger v1.1 beta is gonna be ready to go live tomorrow!

I'm not sure how to set up an alternate beta-testing channel on itch.io, especially with an in-browser application, so I'm just going to make a page for the beta version on my website & link to it

the big #ZineArranger update is ready for testing & coming together. since there are so many combinations of settings and so much room for mistakes in each specific situation, I'm thinking about doing like, a little beta? maybe combined with a "odd-sized zine jam" where we make zines using some of the new arrangements & then people can report back if something isn't working?

someone on the #ZineArranger comments inquired about an option for a 1/16th sized zine & at first I was like "oh no, that's gonna be hard to implement" (which yes, kinda true), but then I decided I'd at least look into it.

after looking at some 1/16th-size templates, I realized the pattern is actually pretty simple... it's basically just stringing all of the pages around the sheet in a worm/labyrinth type pattern, with a couple of 'rules' that make things fold correctly!
