I'm moving all my worldbuilding stuff onto the platform I should have been using this whole time - Zim Wiki.
I tinkered with Zim many years ago, then tried TiddlyWiki (not for me)...then I got a World Anvil subscription, but I only use about 5% of their features and I'd love to save some money and have it all on my computer instead. Back to where I started!

Je recommande par ailleurs très fortement ce logiciel pour prendre/organiser des notes/textes.

我也想用，甚至感觉它的功能完美适配我的需求，还能用日记功能来排单。但上次尝试时出了几个一头雾水的bug，包括无法通过软件初始页面打开笔记本、无法拖拽插入图片、附件文件夹缩略图变成1:1比例显示、莫名闪退 
主要还是闪退很无奈，其它问题可以溺爱（哭了）
I guess I don't share my findings or tools as much as I should. Obsidian is super cool and extremely convenient, but I really think if you have the time-- please check out ZimWiki I know it's old but hot damn if it isnt still awesome!

FYI I recommend #ZimWiki for notes. It's copyright but free and has been a staple for many years now.
It creates *text* files in a markdown like format using normal files and directories to create a tree and has a great option based GUI.
I used #Evernote for a while but despite its #enshitification, I think simple, solid and extendable (Zim Wiki has many plugins) is best.
All it lacks is a mobile app.
I really need to take another long hard look at both #ZimWiki and #CherryTree. They're both desktop #NoteTaking apps, developed long before #PKM was even a thing!
