I enjoy some #journaling self reflection too. At one point I was doing it all digital, but moved away because they were proprietary and the export data was not as good as I thought. #Zim gives me a bit of a #obsidian vibe at first glance; might give it a shot next time I am trying a new tool.

Is there any way to run zimcheck on a .Zim file to verify its integrity without installing zimtools and a whole pile of packages that it depends on? Like a simple executable that I can copy and use in a shell, or a Web page, or something?

I do not want a whole install sequence for something I'm going to use once.

Herzliche Begrüßung an der HHU

Mit einem bunten Tag wurden am 1. August wieder die neuen Auszubildenden der Heinrich-Heine-Universität (HHU) begrüßt. Einige von ihnen sind extra aus Ostfriesland, Schleswig-Holstein und Niederbayern nach Düsseldorf gezogen. Heute haben sie gemeinsam einen Wunschbaum gepflanzt und ihre künftigen Arbeitsbereiche kennengelernt: etwa im Botanischen Garten, im Zentrum für Informations- und Medientechnologie, in der Universitäts- und Landesbibliothek oder in der Universitätsverwaltung. Insgesamt sind es sechs verschiedene Berufe.

I am a long term #zim #wiki user. We are not many out there. My high or low productivity depends to a great extend on this tool, used with git as backend.

I am testing #anytype It seems to me like a fancy version of zim-wiki with more features, so complexity. More sexy to the eyes of most. I really like it, although I doubt it would increase my productivity compared with zim-wiki unless I am collaborating within a project/team.....

I will keep using it for a while to evaluate further.

Wie würde man sowas restaurieren können? Und haben die Uhren einen Wert (außer dem sentimentalen), oder ist das Massenware?
