As the #elections get closer in #Taiwan (9 days to go, to be precise), #China is ramping up its antics to intimidate and bully the #democratic nation.
All these #balloons being sent into the nation's ADIZ and across the main island are a clear provocation on behalt of #Beijing.
If it were up to me, I'd intercept any balloon entering the airspace proper of Taiwan, analyze the crap out of its sensors and send it back to #Zhongnanhai with some pineapple cakes.

No, #LiKeqiang certainly was no saint. But he was the last leading member of #China's #CCP who acted in some kind of good faith towards the democratic and liberal "West". And he was also the guy sent out from #Zhongnanhai to soothe mourning folks after accidents and catastrophes.
Li was a remaining bit of human decency within the CCP's leading organs. What remains now under #XiJinping are reckless yes men. And a higher risk of an aggressive China.

Just got confirmation for my next trip to #Taiwan, known as a sovereign #country and a beacon of #freedoms and #democracy in #FarEast - and most definitely NOT a province of #China.
Flying out on September 23 and back to Switzerland on October 15th, so it's going to be a full three weeks.
Message to #Zhongnanhai: please postpone any possible invasion plans accordingly.

In other news: When #Taiwan registered its first larger #Covid19 outbreak with domestic infections in mid May (and communicated about it transparently), guess what? #China did not claim Taiwan to be an integral part of it then, as it would have meant that China would have claimed those Covid cases as well.

#Zhongnanhai can shove its phantasies up its butt. Taiwan does not want to become part of a genocidal dictatorship, thank you.

You sent in the #PLA with tanks and assault rifles to kill thousands of your smartest kids. Under the one child policy. The only kid of so many families.

In other news, #China's #CCP insists on continuously overplaying its hand in the #SouthEastAsianSea.
Beijing's latest attempt to claim the #WhitsunReef by sending fisherboats as a marine #militia over there has pissed off way too many people in the #Philippines and may well lead to #Duterte finding some rests of his spine and finally standing up to his good buddies at #Zhongnanhai.

The Philippines have a very strong position, based on a #UNCLOS decision in 2016. Time for Manila to move.
