In spite of media and government claims of a "ceasefire," the decimation of Gaza continues — over 70,000 Palestinians killed, whole cities levelled, thousands starving in tattered tents while Israel prevents all but a trickle of aid from entering the Strip. Canada remains complicit, and we have no other choice but to respond.This spring, Canada Boat to Gaza is sailing again as part of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition in what will be the largest coordinated maritime and land mission to Gaza in history — over 100 boats from more than 100 countries, carrying healthcare professionals, life-saving supplies, and a vision of Palestinian-led reconstruction. We have been challenging this illegal and inhumane blockade since 2011, and despite the illegal detention and degrading treatment of our volunteers aboard the Conscience in 2025, we are not backing down. We are escalating for Gaza.To make this mission possible, we need to raise $35,000 to purchase and crew a Canadian boat. So many of us who are passionate about the cause of justice in Gaza are unable to physically join the mission, but your financial contribution, however small, is your way of declaring your commitment to the freedom of Gaza. We receive no government funding — this work depends entirely on the support of people of conscience across the country who refuse to watch idly by while genocide becomes background noise.When governments fail, we sail.
