Battle of wills.

Zaz is so cross! She really didn't want her picture taken and did her best to make it almost impossible. She pretty much fought tooth and claw to make it hard to get this photo. She had just been fighting with a tail that didn't want to be bitten and legs that refused to be cleaned and then I came along with my phone and caught her out of sorts. She was going to make me pay and so it took about 15 photos to get this, finally! (Happily I got off mostly unscathed, don't worry.)

Zaz wants to wish a happy #Caturday to all! She's been busy housekeeping, it would appear, as she's thrown most of her blanket out of her bed. She's such a helpful, busy girl.

So I'm trying to recover from an infection, just sitting quietly by the fire with Zaz sleeping on my knee when the thought of #WhiskersWednesday passed through my brain (surely I didn't say it out loud) when this happened.

Okay, Zaz is beginning to be annoyed with me now.

Zaz: Do you ever get the feeling you're being watched?

After her beauty sleep and a little hemp milk in a saucer (hemp milk is her favourite drink) Zaz suddenly became aware that she was already being watched. And there's nothing quite like the focus of a border collie who adores you.
