🛟 Gestern rettete #RESQSHIP 62 Menschen von einem südl. #Lampedusa treibenden Schlauchboot, nach einem Mayday Relay von #Frontex 🛩️🇪🇺 #EAGLE2.

⚫ Als die #Nadir vor Ort eintraf, waren 2 Kleinkinder bereits tot. Eine weitere Person wurde nach vergeblichen Reanimationsmaßnahmen an Bord für tot erklärt.

Das Boot hatte #Zawiyah in #Libyen 3 Tage zuvor verlassen. Am 2. Tag versagte der Motor.

@alarm_phone hat Kontakt zu einer Gruppe in Seenot auf 1 Schlauchboot. Sie berichten, dass der Motor kaputt ist. Versuche, die sog. 'Libyan Coastguard' zu erreichen, schlagen fehl: Niemand geht ans Telefon.
