Verona, 12 mar. (Adnkronos) - Le tensioni geopolitiche delle ultime settimane hanno impattato inevitabilmente sul settore: “Oggi la nostra attività è fortemente condizionata dalle pieghe che ha preso la crisi e dalla guerra nel Golfo. Oltre 3.000 navi sono bloccate all'interno del Golfo Persico e non possono passare lo Stretto di Hormuz, mentre circa 500 sono all'esterno e sarebbero dovute entrare. Centinaia di rotte verso il Golfo sono state cancellate e questo sta colpendo negativamente non solo l'armamento italiano ma l'intera catena logistica mondiale”.
Il presidente di Confitarma ha evidenziato anche i rischi per la sicurezza dei marittimi: “Solo oggi sono state attaccate quattro navi e ci sono marittimi coinvolti. La sicurezza e il benessere degli equipaggi sono sempre il primo pensiero di ogni armatore, soprattutto in situazioni come questa”

Verona, March 12 (Adnkronos) - The geopolitical tensions of the past few weeks have inevitably impacted the sector: “Today our operations are strongly conditioned by the twists and turns that the crisis has taken and the war in the Gulf. Over 3,000 ships are blocked inside the Persian Gulf and cannot pass through the Strait of Hormuz, while around 500 are outside and were due to enter. Hundreds of routes to the Gulf have been cancelled and this is negatively affecting not only Italian shipping but the entire global logistics chain.”
The president of Confitarma also highlighted the risks to the safety of seafarers: “Only today four ships were attacked and seafarers were involved. The safety and well-being of crews is always the first thought of every shipowner, especially in situations like this.”
